It took me over a year but anouther one lives.

The last time this T ran my dad was a teen and he and his buddy drove it into the woods where it died. It sat there for many years until being rescued and dragged to a barn. Cow barn to cow barn for the next 50 years. The car still smells like cow pee sometimes.

I picked up these large valve brass Schrader valve caps at an estate sale. They are all stamped Schrader U.S.A.

The inner diameter is 9/16 or approximately 14mm.

For years I fitted the seals supplied by the vendors and we all know that the have too smaller OD and need to be glued/sealed in place.
So the million dollar question is, why have we been putting up with them when I simply walked into our local bearing store and bought the right size to fit in??

Anyone thinking about going? I was the only T there last year. 400+ vehicles. Nice field with a pavilion for shade. Food and live band. And if your into trophies, they had a huge table full of them.

I just tried to install a gooseneck for my spare tire on my 1920 touring. The holes in the gooseneck do not line up with the U-bolts. Since the U-bolts fit in the crossmember I cannot move them outwards. I assumed the cross members would be about the same. Should not assume things.

I’ve noticed of late that my timing lever won’t stay put when I drive. It continuously slips upward, costing me power - unless I hold it in place. But I need my hands for the steering wheel and throttle, so holding that timing lever isn’t very convenient. Any tips or ideas on how best to keep that lever put? Thanks in advance.

I have a 26 coupe. Does anyone use any kind of sealer between the rubber gasket and the body metal? Also the qtr window I've tried so far doesn't make an even contact all around. I've cleaned the channel well so there isn't any junk in it but it still isn't making good contact. Any suggestions
