The car I purchased had a passenger side mount which I removed because it interferred with the correct choke pull rod. Additionally it doesnt work well on the dirver side.

Can you please explain the best way to attach the choke on the inlet to the mixture control rod, so that when you pull it up, it will act as a choke when starting, as it did when it was interfaced with the original vaporizer carb? I have a finned RAJO exhaust manifold that is incomplete. The exhaust pipe exits from the bottom of the manifold. The missing part holds the exhaust pipe somehow. Does anyone know what the missing part looks like? Thanks. First time on the forum haven't figured out how to attach photos. Mike

On the base of the transmission tail shaft, Is the year the bottom number or the right side number?
One looks like it may be 6-10-09 or 6-09-10?
The other one I am not sure at all as the right side number has three digits?

Does anyone know a place in southern eastern PA or in Maryland or Delaware who polishes brass and then coats them?

I would like to drive the parts to be polished rather than mail them.

The thread about 1911-12 fore doors has me wondering about the front fender eyelet irons. How long were they used?
My late 11 has them, dash tag # 81401.
I also have the remains of another car tag # 92844 which has the hole.
I'm aware of the irons that has the hole filled in, but have only seen 1 set.

I am having trouble setting up my brake band, after adjustment it keeps moving rearwards off the drum to the point it doesn't grip the drum and the pedal hits the floor. It worked fine until I removed the pedal to weld on an extension for the Rocky Mountain brakes that I'm fitting.

Here’s a few pictures of a 1909 buffalo carb. It’s a pretty intricate carb and probably a good bit more expensive than the 5 ball Kingston. The Buffalo was used on a few early 1909 T’s.

My wife would try to make a boot for the top on my 21 touring. Is there some sort of pattern out there? I'm not worried if it is accurate or not, my car is all T but not acurate, basically it is a 21 body on a 26/27 chassis thanks

Back in the 60’s I bought a pair of accessory lined brake shoes to replace the cast iron ford ones. I recently purchased a pair of brake shoes like the ones I bought in the 60’s. Where do I fine brake lining for them? They are 1” wide and held on with split rivets.

I took my Rocky Mountain brake bands to get relined and the older guy that I talked too suggested using a WOVEN lining instead of the smooth flexible lining.
What do you all think about the 2 different types of lining??

This came in with some KRW stuff. But don’t think it is anything to do with KRW. Looks like some kind of governor, inside are springs that push against the counter weights.

Looking at what I presume is a Jackrabbit replacement, in time, the friction linings fail. According to hearsay, this clutch pack has probably over 20,000 miles. I wonder where the lost clutch facing went ?

My T has an exhaust manifold that appears to be for an auxiliary heater:

The shroud is missing and there are no holes in the floor to duct the heat if the shroud was there. My question is: are there any advantages or disadvantages of running this exhaust manifold? I know it seems to radiate heat rather well under the hood.

My brass horn mount decided to break on me and I'm looking for options. I've never soldered brass but I'm willing to give it a try. What you see here is what I'm left with. The stem snapped and the brass cap is missing. Do I need to de-solder the remainder of the stem? Lang's horn mount doesn't seem like it would fit this horn.

Hi all, my T consistently develops a puddle of oil (?) below the starter after taking it for even short drives (2+ miles). I'm thinking I need to change out the gaskets or, worst case replace the starter. What do you think?

This box probably hasn't seen the light of day for many years. Found in a wooden tool box in the attic of an old shed. What little I can find would indicate 1910-1912 era??
