While working on my t over the years where I removed bolts I would replace the nuts with elastic stop nut ( not one subject to rotation). I also spent many years working on aircraft and stop nuts are used almost in all applications.
Would Henry used castle nuts if stop nutswhere available then?

I’m waiting on the casting foundry in town to give me a price but would anyone be interested in the accessory windshield stanchion mount with running board plate spare tire carrier? I’ve seen a few of them but even fewer with the running board plate. If my measurements are correct, you’d me able to carry 21”, 30x3 and 30x3.5 tires.

Does anyone have suggestions and hopefully photos of where and how they attached speedometer cable support straps?
I know Model Ts did not come with straps, but the repros need the support.
The repro cable housings stretch and cause the sliding clutch to disengage. I'm hoping a strap will solve the problem.

Seems I have 2 Holley Model S 2 screw carbs. At first I thought they were identical, but now I see some differences. In the bowl, choke and throttle levers, and the 2 screw cover plate. The bowls have a different shape. The cover is thicker on one than the other, and there are differences in the castings of the throttle and choke...

So I found another Holley S carb in the house, so I have 3 now to look at.
I cracked open all 3 to see whats going on inside.
2 have the same valve seat, and the third one has a completely different one.
As you can see, it has a guide for the valve needle, whereas the others do not.
Is this a later addon, or is this an earlier version?

I have a ball cap for a 2 piece drive shaft that has roughly a 1 inch long & 1/2 inch deep missing piece at the large open end. If I cut to square the circumference to the depth of the missing chipped out piece would it effect the use of the ball cap? I hate to scrap it and I’m looking for options for its use.

Pulled an unknown hub puller out of the evaporust bucket today. I'm unsure what it fits though. It's 2 7/8 diameter from the outside of the threads.

A friend and I decided to make a pan jig out of our collective available resources.
I had a piece if 6061-T6 one inch thick aluminum plate (aircraft grade),
We bought some steel tubing and channel to fill in what we didn't have on hand.
A friend with access to a water jet cut the plate out for us.

The Southern Peach T’s 🍑 formed as the MTFCA’s Georgia chapter a little over a year ago. I don't think I asked this before. At least I can't see that I did. In pulling the rear hub on my '26 Runabout with wire wheels, do I need to buy the threaded hub puller that is in the catalog or can I use a 3 finger style like the parts stores has?

I bought a set of steel felloe wheels for 30 x 3 1/2 demountable rims. They have a punched raised piece at each rim mounting bolt location for a separate lug I’m guessing. Will these work with my fixed lug Hayes rims or did I but lawn art? 😀 Bought them for rebuilding so that I can keep driving my T with the wheels on it.

I have a 1925 T Tudor that is missing a gas cap. The tank appears original, a cap for it looks like it would be a push and twist type. There are no threads. All the caps I see for Model Ts on the supplier sites are screw on which is the same or very similar to my 26 T.
