i got lucky today at the swap meet and found a Manco alignment tool will be trying to learn more about it at as time goes by. i also picked up a nos fun projects voltage regulator. 12 volt. i may be asking questions how to use the alignment tool.

I have some used axle shafts I plan to use with good threads and key ways. The specs I've found for the bearing surface is 1.060-1.062 when new. I'm measuring something less than that, but more than 1.051 across the length. Is there a replacement threshold? The ones in the car now would probably measure 1.000 or less. They've likely been that way...

Is the inlet thread on a Holley NH carburetor 1/8 NPT ?
Tried running a new brass fitting and it would not start.
Chased the threads with a die with no help.
Threads in carburetor visually appear to be in good shape.
Curious before I pull the carburetor off an run a tap in which is
going to result in pulling apart and cleaning out possible chips...

The KW wood coilbox used only in 1913 uses non insulated silver colored stranded wire about 14 AWG. I'm wondering if this type of wire is still available?

I'm replacing my two-piece valves (with .326 stems). The engine runs nicely, and I notice it has aluminum pistons. My question: how do I know if I should get oversize stems? Also, since I'm replacing the valves, should I also replace the old valve springs while I'm at it?

I have a 1926 Model T Coupe that my grandfather left me and I have almost fixed it. However, I am having trouble getting the headlights and horn to turn on. Both work when I power the bulbs directly, but they do not work when I power them through the switch. Can anyone help me with a wiring diagram?

I would say, from my vendor viewpoint, that Duncan 2025 is a success. Great vending environment for the PreWar crowd. We were all located close and the layout was perfect for us. On clean concrete, close to bathrooms, good lighting, easy access for loading and unloading. Very good food concession by the local high school band kids and teachers....

I installed a new HC head “Sherman style” with a new copper head gasket. I drove a few miles and it started leaking. Water and bubbles came out along the head bolt between cilinder 1 and 2. I re-tightend the head bolts to 55 lbs but without success.

Took the water outlet off my 16 to fix hose leak.
Outlet looks thicker wall so compared to some NOS I have.
NOS ones don’t have Ford on them and thinner wall.
I think I remember that Ford was not put on parts till later. If so when? Could this be a reproduction? Most late repro are bronze, this cast iron.

I’m “piecing together” a 1926 roadster pickup from parts. I’m planning on building a wood box. From what I can assume (we all know what happens when we assume) the exterior of the box (or distance between the inner fenders) should be in the vicinity of 43”. Anybody know the exact measurement?

We are in an extended drought. Last year we had less than half our usual rainfall. Most crops failed to deliver anything like a decent yield. In a discussion about tires on my Fronty a guy made mention of the use of large balloon tires on a speedster he had seen years ago. I have photo's of Model TT trucks with such tires, they were an option on late 26/27 trucks here in Australia and appear in Ford factory literature.

Since I'm rebuilding the rear, I thought I'd check out the transmission of my 1915 roadster. This is the first T that I've removed the hogs head. It has cotton linings which actually look OK, but one had loose rivets that came right off when I touched them. Anyway, any thoughts on how it looks?
