I learned that it’s for a pre-state plate made out of leather or wood.

I think it would be a poor choice to mount a leather plate, since it only holds the plate by 1 corner, allowing it to flop around.

(Sorry for the duplicate ad.) An aluminum oil sump for speedsters. This will give you more oil capacity for a cooler running engine. It's an older reproduction, maker is unknown. Needs to be surfaced, drilled for the crankcase bolts and threaded for oil line fittings. The sump is 4 inches deep $125.00 (shipping to be determined)

This is an aluminum oil sump for the speedsters. It's a newer reproduction that someone was making. I have no idea who made it, there's no name identifying the manufacturer. It could be 10 years old or 50 years old I just don't know.

The casting is unmachined, it will need to be surfaced, drilled, and threaded where necessary for the oil lines....

Came with some other T parts that I bought. Pulley turns, a little stiff, could probably use some cleaning and grease. Shaft doesn’t seem worn out. Definitely still has some life left in it. Neat design.

This is a really neat period aftermarket accessory called the “Iron Claw”.

It is an anti-theft device that wraps around the steering column and has a hook that hooks onto one of the steering wheel spokes. There is an eye on the clamp for a padlock.

Super cool piece, I almost hate to let it go. I’ve never seen another one like it.

Even IF the rollers had .010 wear, still far superior to the solid roller bearings. Of course these do not have that kind of wear and the price is very reasonable.

Wanted to buy rebuildable coils; I will buy outright for cash or arrange for you to get rebuilt coils back as partial payment. I rebuild coils for Model T owners and Model T parts suppliers and am always looking for good usable coils for rebuilding.
