We set up this forum in Jan and 1000's of items have been sold. That's good. Speaking from personal experience both selling and watching numerous transactions unfold, there are things that work, and others that don't work as well. Here are some pointers to get the most out of placing an ad:
- keep your description as clear and concise as possible...

More Free Stuff: 4' Length of REX #80 Roller Chain (GONE)

First post
Free: one piece of roller chain, probably ca. 1900-1920, Size 80. 1 pitch, 5/8 roller width, 5/8 roller diameter. Appox 4' length. This chain is interesting because each link is held together with cotter pins, so effectively every single link is a master link. It's covered in surface rust which makes it stiff so it will have to be cleaned somehow....

The TT truck has the battery by the running board so the lineage goes straight back to the shift lock. In standard chassis the rod has to cross over the drive shaft to dodge the battery.

These were takeoffs from a 1920 roadster project when they were replaced with a set of wheels correct for the year. Removed from a roadworthy car in the 1980's and in garaged storage most of the car's life (one-family ownership for over 90 years and put on about the 1940's). They'd look great on an unrestored driver.

I am looking to buy one white Firestone tire with the typical tread pattern. I have three already and yes they are kind of yellow but that is fine for what I have planned. If you have one or a pair I would be interested. Please contact me using the PM function on this site. I can pick them up at Duncan. Thanks, Mike

Back to the top, does anyone by chance have one or two of the discolored tires that you want to cash in? Please use PM messaging. Thanks, Mike
