Got the ambulance complete enough to start the display and event season. But it can always use some bells and whistles. They were originally fork mounted, like T style acetylene headlights.
Those were probably originally used as headlights on a large truck, such as a Jeffery/Nash or FWD Quad or a Liberty truck.

This is a really neat cast aluminum carburetor heat pipe made by Motor Invention Co in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

It has some fins inside that were meant to swirl the intake air. I was going to grind out the fins and use it on my speedster. I thought it would look cool all polished up. I’m currently running a Stromberg on my speedster instead of an NH...

FS: Here's an accessory I've never seen before - these are anti-theft devices for Moto-Meters that slide down into the radiator neck then anchor in place. One of them comes with a bushing to size the threads down for a Junior Moto-Meter as used on Model T's. Apparently the Good Old Days weren't all that good if you had to worry about some...

I have a section of fabric in my otherwise restored car that a moth has really gone to town on. I have searched for fabric by the yard and it looks like it would be $89 per yard. A pest strip will do a number on moths in an enclosed space, without the obvious smell. Just take it out before you travel. They don't have the same volatiles as mothballs.

My ignition switch on my '26 won't keep contact with the battery side and is very worn and loose. Does anyone have a good one available? Wanted to ask before I buy brand new. Solved: re-bent the contacts and she's like new now.

I am looking for a correct set of brass hubcaps for my 1913 Touring. The attached photo shows the 1913 details very clearly. Note that the letters are very delicate compared to later caps which have much thicker letters and script. Also notice that the horizontal bar that is midway up in the letter F extends to the left almost beyond all other...

Original teens Stewart Warner brass bell hand horn. Excellent condition. Works as designed. Very loud. “AHHHHHHWOOOH!” Ready to bolt on and use. No damage on bell, or mechanism, one or two very tiny dings on the brass, looks great. 300 includes shipping. 8.5 length, 5 inch diameter bell.

FS: Brass steering gear cases, ca. 1915-1925. The threads for the most part are still nice on most of them, and they're not out-of-round from being dropped, etc. Obviously these are used junkyard parts so they may need to be re-bushed, etc. Asking $15 each, not including shipping.
