Any of the race car bodies weren t the easiest or most comfortable to get into and out of. i have a Studebaker racer that was built in the 20s and its comfortable but it’s hard to get in and out of it. But that’s the nature of the car. It’s still an exciting drive.

I restored two pair of three rivet 1915/'16 front fenders before I acquired my four rivet pair.
And, believe me, All four of those fenders I restored were in far worse condition than this one is! They are not near perfect, but now look fine from a few feet away.

I made a small run of these rings that go down at the bottom of the rubber horn bulbs just like the original Rubes and Nonpareil had. I used an original ring off of a Rubes bulb for the dimensions. These rings will fit the taxi style bulb which looks a little more similar to the original shape of the Rubes and Nonpareil bulbs.

Im looking to replace my true fire ignition which I think has failed due to sitting for over 8 years. The creator of this has disappeared but I recall it worked great when I installed it 10 years ago. Thanks!

That little ground wire problem has failed frequently and given the TrueFire a bad name.

The other most common problems are a weak battery, a battery ground wire problem, or poor cables.

Measuring less than 5 Volts at the starter terminal with the engine being turned over is also a major problem.

I have an unrestored Rubes Triple Twist Horn For Sale. It has no cracks in the brass, but the usual bumps and dents. All easily removed by the folks that restore these. The threads are perfect on the tube connection and the Rubes stamping on the body is still nice and deep. This is exactly the same horn on my 1911 T and will work for other years...

Ford pinion gear fresh out of the bead blaster. Keyway looks good. The bore has some minor pitting as does a few of the teeth. I have tried to show the worst of the pitting on the teeth. Teeth profile look good and there are no chipped teeth.

I am looking for a good parking brake arm (the one opposite the hand brake lever) for my 26. I have attached a couple of pictures of what I am after. The large hole is 3/4 inch dia. and it is held on by one pin. If you have one in good shape you would be willing to part with (particularly with holes that are round) please send me a pm.

Morgan, if it is any help, I braze weld the hole completely shut and then redrill the bronze to the standard clevis pin size. That means i usually get a pin running in bronze, just like it had been bushed.

The OP seems to have found the requested parts. FWIW, p/n 3507 is the Steering gear internal gear and bushing , p/n 3504 is steering gear cover , both parts used 09-26 according to1926 Ford parts list. P/n3539D is steering gear bracket assembly for coupe , roadster, tudoor and touring. jb

FS one BUDD wire wheel as used on Overlands ca. 1920. You sometimes see these adapted to Model T Fords. Selling just the wheel, no hub. The OD of the wheel is 24 at the very edges and 23 where the inside diameter of the tire meets the rim. Usable condition, there are a couple of bad spokes. Asking $115, shipping not included.

3 speed sliding gear transmission. It’d raise your top end from 6 to 7-8 MPH…if it was for a Model F that is. Fordsons we’re built in some form or fashion up to 1962.

George, Judging from the water pump/outlet on front of head, its for a Model F or Model N. There was also another model made and sold in England up into the 1040's.

For sale are a matching front and rear seats. I think buggy, some say an early car. They are all original excellent condition and they are real leather. The wood is also in great condition with no rot and very minor original paint loss. They are as good as they look. The robe rail is brass. I think they were taken off when nearly new. $1,200....

The lower end was designed and executed by Tom Holthart of Quality Machine, formally Sants Clara, CA. It consists of a Scat counter balanced crank, full pressure oil to the mains, using a VW, cam driven oil pump. Rods are new forged type with inserts. Here is an original T era Bevin polished brass Bermuda bell. Heavy thick brass. It has a nice polish, no dents or cracks, just a few small nicks here and there from actual road use under a T. It works great, very, very loud DING DONG! when plunger is depressed. Holds the fading tone after ringing, something only original bells can do. Very clean....

I'd go with an EE crank which are said to be the strongest Ford crank made, if it were mine. No one's going to know the difference, and even if you were the type to enter judging contests, judges aren't going to tear your motor down for inspection like they would at a NASCAR or NHRA event.

I just picked up another car. The car is pretty nice but the tires are the worst that I have ever seen and I just need something that I can stick on it with some tubes so that it will be easier to move around until I am able to get it running. If anyone has anything, bald, cracked, whatever as long as they will work around the shop. Thanks.

New spinning for Brown 75 and Possibly 78 tail lamp Red Lense. Originally lenses were spun in place and the rim often split.
