They were originally fork mounted, like T style acetylene headlights.
Those were probably originally used as headlights on a large truck, such as a Jeffery/Nash or FWD Quad or a Liberty truck.

This is a really neat cast aluminum carburetor heat pipe made by Motor Invention Co in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

It has some fins inside that were meant to swirl the intake air. I was going to grind out the fins and use it on my speedster. I thought it would look cool all polished up. I’m currently running a Stromberg on my speedster instead of an NH...

I have a section of fabric in my otherwise restored car that a moth has really gone to town on. I have searched for fabric by the yard and it looks like it would be $89 per yard. A pest strip will do a number on moths in an enclosed space, without the obvious smell. Just take it out before you travel. They don't have the same volatiles as mothballs.

My ignition switch on my '26 won't keep contact with the battery side and is very worn and loose. Does anyone have a good one available? Wanted to ask before I buy brand new. Solved: re-bent the contacts and she's like new now.

Thanks guys, first I am going to try and re-bend the contacts and see if I can get a better connection that way. BTW, of course the first response to my inbox was a scammer trying to bilk me out of $50 for copied pics of a switch from Lang's. Always some morlock trying to scam.

FS one unrestored Nonpareil brass horn, correct for 1914 (and possibly late 1913.) There are a few dents and dings, but the brass seems to be in decent shape and it should straighten without too much trouble. Asking $125 + shipping.

I am looking for a correct set of brass hubcaps for my 1913 Touring. The attached photo shows the 1913 details very clearly. Note that the letters are very delicate compared to later caps which have much thicker letters and script. FS: Brass steering gear cases, ca. 1915-1925. The threads for the most part are still nice on most of them, and they're not out-of-round from being dropped, etc. Obviously these are used junkyard parts so they may need to be re-bushed, etc. Asking $15 each, not including shipping.
