We set up this forum in Jan and 1000's of items have been sold. That's good. Speaking from personal experience both selling and watching numerous transactions unfold, there are things that work, and others that don't work as well. Here are some pointers to get the most out of placing an ad:
- keep your description as clear and concise as possible...

Some months ago Steve Jelf mentioned that he'd heard of a company in Florida that made wheels for classic cars. I tracked them down and learned that the owner, Rodrigo Diaz, was in the process of developing demountable, non-demountable and split-rims for Model T's. I offered my help and encouragement and thru this process we became friends. I've...

As was promised last year, the last set of dies have now been made and correct gaskets stamped...

Full kits will be sold until I am out of float valves, and then just the gasket set alone, will be available,...

Gaskets only
no float valves
when this kit of gaskets is gone then that's it - to heck with it
having to do a hard-sell on things that apparently no one wants is plenty demeaning but better than throwing things out (though it's damn tempting)
FWIW - in my opinion, the 3 pages of instructions and hints I supply with the gaskets is darn near...

ISO: EE Model T crank preferably already ground, ready to go

Might be in the market to replace my crank. Putting a feeler out for something stronger than what I've got. Rear flange out 2 thou. Could just need a facing, could be worse. Would like to upgrade for longevity anyways.
Trying to stay in budget (I know, those new fancy ones at Chaffins..)
Let me know what you have!
Thanks!
Last post
I disagree. Already 20 under. +wear?? Offered crank is only .002 larger. Very doable with timesaver.
Bonus: the new bearing surfaces will be 100%.
I have done the same, fitting a 1.250 scat crank to a standard Babbitt block.
I would not pass up this excellent crank.

I have a rebuilt large drum rearend for sale. I bought it from by Hank Lee and have never installed it. It is still wrapped up in plastic the way it was when I picked it up. I will take what I paid Hank for it, $2,000. I would consider a trade deal for a Ruckstell.

The Rootlieb hoods are excellent. You spend a lot of time looking along the line of the hood when driving, so having anything else looking as good as a new one takes a deal of skill in panel work.

Thanks Steve for telling the truth! The fact is Sunderlin had no mechanical knowledge that I'm aware of. He wrongly assumed all the equalizers did the same thing. How wrong he was. I'm surprised Bud Williams didn't correct the matter when he took over the business. Real Rocky Mountains never used rods to the brakes.

I have one advertised here and some one wanted it. My 'puter died and I lost all email and history including the purchaser's contact information.
I still have a brand new one fine thread with yoke. I can take all photos and measurements. I was told Kim Dobbins made these some years ago.
thnx

Stewart speedometer gear see pics for condition 40$ ea plus the ride

Interesting gear with no spokes Karl. The block printing is early, as is the four hole mounting drilled into the bosses on the casting. Then it has also been drilled for a second four hole mounting. Using the lower right of these holes, two more have been drilled to make a three hole mounting like the later gears.
