Learned something new today, evidently there is a longer than the normal rear spring clamp (U bolt) and I need to find a pair of the long ones for my 1927 Touring. Let me know if you have 1 or 2 your willing to part with

That is interesting… The illustration of 3833 & 3833b is from a ‘29 parts book, so should be the latest (most recent) variation of that part. I was going to try mine in a late crossmember, but didn’t because it is an exact match to the illustration.

So apparently, the one you have that is long enough for a 9 leaf spring but that will not fit a...

These plates are in excellent near new shape, in primmer, and just need to be painted the proper colors for the year. I checked them out with California Department of Motor Vehicles a while back and they were clear in the system to register on your 1924 California year of make vehicle. Asking $95 plus postage.

Offered here is a pair of front accessory Hayes wire wheels. They are the 30 x 3.5 size. The outside rims are in great condition. One is missing the front spokes. These accept regular 30 x 3.5 inch demountable rims and fit directly to model T spindles using regular bearings.

Its definitely a regrind. Tag says .264 lift which Chaffins apparently sold as .270 lift.

A couple years ago I bought a complete HP5A as shown in photos. Upon taking it apart I found damage at the bottom of the float bowl where the casting was broken. A repair was attempted with a poor job of brazing the parts by a prior owner. Needless to say, I was disappointed.

Hi, my friend is looking for chrome front and back bumpers in good condition with hardware for his 1926:Ford Sedan. Any help will be appreciated.

Anthony, if you find chrome ones, they have been replated. Factory finish is nickel plating. If the radiator shell is nickel plated, chrome plated bars will look a bit odd.

For Info on Moore transmissions see the link below (but note that the shifter on mine is of a different design):

Moore was possibly the 3rd most popular aux. trans after Ruckstell and Warford. Advantage over Ruckstell is that the Moore has a neutral (so you can have the T towed a long distance without fear) plus if you have an early rear end...
