Who restores oil pressure gauges?

Post by Duey_C » Mon Apr 03, 2023 1:44 am

Dare I ask who is a gauge repairman? Even an old oil pressure gauge?
Did some looking, couldn't find anything.
Thanks much. :)

Hemmings Motor News has a number of listings for gauge, clock, and speedometer repair/restoration services in the "Services Offered" section.

Internet search: "Antique Auto Gauge Repair"

Gets many results.

(I use and recommend "DuckDuckGo" for online searches)

Since you are in Minnesota, I would contact the following:

APT Instruments International, Inc.
9632 Humboldt Ave S
Bloomington, MN
Tel: 952-881-7095

They do speedometer, tachometer and small gauge repair, restoration and customizing - antique to modern. They repaired the speedometer for my 1989 Pontiac Grand Am many years ago.

Woohoo! Thanks guys!
Eric, thank you.
Pat, thank you and I missed the obvious didn't I? Do a search...
I used to use Scroogle search but sadly they folded. The duck is my go-to as well.
Scroogle was the same, they didn't care what you look for.
Duckduckgo dumps the memory banks every 48 hours so we don't get to "have a better internet experience"...
Oh, IF George Carlin could take that line and run with it.
The last four lines could be in hieroglyphics for many.
I'll suggest APT and a 'net search to the fellow.
Thank you much. :)
