Eco Air Meter project

Post by Ed Fuller » Fri Nov 03, 2023 8:44 pm

Several months ago a good friend of mine asked if I could keep an eye out for a vintage Eco Air meter for out front of his garage.

I gave it some thought and came up with an idea of how I could make a replica one for around $100. I decided I would like to have one in front of my garage also so I made one for each of us.

I ordered some reproduction face plates and glass and found something that would have a similar shape as a real one.

I stopped by a local restaurant supply store and picked up some of these pans.

With a little trimming, I came up with this.

After some spray paint, some other odds and ends, and an old window crank I found in a $1 pile at Hershey I ended up with this.

Not an exact authentic replica, but close enough fool some people!
