My latest arrival, a 1930 Chev.
I'm having trouble getting any feedback on where to search for the following clarifications -
1. Where my car was made
2. What year the engine was made as its not the original number matching the original paperwork. 1929 was 46 HP v 1930 HP is 50 HP so is this engine a 46 HP?
This forum is easily the most active and helpful of all my car brands so maybe somebody on here can help.
Chassis number is - XHAD 16757
Engine on Paperwork - R 260165
Actual engine is - R230 448
Casting number on block is - 83550

# 11
I think the # 11 means it was cast November so I guess 1929 as 1928 was a 4 cylinder.
