My son bought a "new" car.
He has always been a Packard and/or Buick guy, but last weekend he bought a Chrysler to add to his fleet. Cars always look better in the photos, but the photos for this one don't do it justice. He got the call today that it is going to be delivered early, tomorrow instead of 2 weeks from now. Here is a link to the auction page for the car.

cheaper than a testicla...
Sent from the panic room, via two tin cans attached with a string, and a jail broken Marconi, while wearing a Tin Foil hat.

Re: My son bought a "new" car.
He just called and said it was off the truck (Reliable Carriers) and they were getting it situated in it's temporary storage. I think it was by far the bargain of the auction, and it was the quickest sale, not even 2 minutes. There was a 1934 Buick 56 Sport Coupe that he was interested in and a 1934 For De Luxe Phaeton (beautiful car and a good price) but he was holding back for the Imperial (you can see them in the auction listing in the link). He and the auctioneer were both surprised at the price.
I had him give a good looking-over of the 1934 Ford Cabriolet that they had listed and the consensus is that it was a 30-footer, at best. Bad panel fit and repair but the paint was the worst part. You could see where they had patched holes in the firewall and body but didn't do anything to blend/fill in the seams and he sent me a lot of photos of bubbling paint, a lot of bubbling paint.
Here is him with his Buick, original and unrestored, less than 17,000 miles
