Triple contact plugs, what application ?

Post by FATMAN » Mon Aug 31, 2020 12:42 pm

Going through a lot of N.O.S. single and double contact headlight plugs, I ran across some triple contact ones, any idea what they would fit? Bob

Cool find! Seems like an easy way to use original looking parts to run turn signals. Assuming you can find bulbs and sockets to fit them.

Most bulbs on my boat have one filament and two contacts, one contact supplies the current and the other is ground. It is possible that your triple contacts have one going to ground.
