FJ - $20 If You Can Identify This 1904 Brass Radiator Manufacturer

Post by FreighTer Jim » Sun Mar 21, 2021 10:30 pm

Ran into a fella at Chickasha Swap Meet
that may have the only water cooled
Aero Car built thru the efforts of
Alexander Malcomson ( Henry Ford’s original
equal 22.5% shareholder in Ford Motor Company ).

That has renewed my research efforts.

These manufacturer watermarks / tags
appear on the brass radiator of
Alexander ( the 1904 Ford Model B ).

No one has been able to identify the
brass radiator manucturer.

The radiator had to have been built before
October of 1904.

$20 bill to whoever can conclusively
determine the radiator manufacturer
with documentation.

Thanks 👋

Some combination of C W P Company. There should be a record since it is 'Registered Trademark' but after that I am at a loss.

Good Guess 😉

But the dates don’t line up 🤔

He was 29 in 1904.

Whitlock Coil Pipe of Hartford CT. I can provide photos of another radiator with full Whitlock tags.

Should I send you the address for Mr Jackson's portrait...

Robert 👋

I haven’t heard further from you.
I would very much like to see the photos
of the other radiator with the full Whitlock tags.

I also need either a mailing address or a PayPal account
to send you the $20.

Here's a Whitlock radiator with tags similar to your example:
