where can i purchase the hardware for a wooden pickup bed? without having to buy a whole kit.

Find an old wooden farm wagon with hand forged hardware and salvage hardware off of that is my recommendation.

The wagon in my photo below is what I used. The truck shows a shot of the body dad and I constructed last summer. Worked out well.

The latches are the cast ones you can pick up from Langs. We mounted them the way we did so your hip doesn't get caught on them. The hinges and pintel are from a local hardware store, aged bit to fit the build.

Just an idea, there are lots of variations on this theme out there.
