Stromberg RF Rebuild

Post by DaveBarker » Sun Apr 24, 2022 4:28 pm

Hi folks. I have a Stromberg RF carb that I'd like to have checked and rebuilt if possible. I had it on my Speedster and replaced it with a Stan Howe rebuilt OS-1. Well, the OS-1 is now leaking pretty good, and I haven't been able to get her going yet. As an option, if necessary, I'd like to have the RF in good shape to put back on the Speedster. Any thoughts on someone that works on RF carbs? Thanks for your help.

Wonderful carbs, Dave. IMHO , better than an OF IMHO. The downside is getting them apart. With patience , very doable. Bruce Compton would be who’d I’d send one to, good luck!
