Steve made it to LakeOzark Mo
The Jelf Report
Our dauntless hero made it in about 6:30 this evening. Had a number of issues he tried addressing along the way. He’s ordered a new tire for his front overnighted but here in rural mid Missourah might be two sometimes three days. That will give us a couple of days to sort out the poor running. He had tried switching carbs against no change then the nuts that hold the float on his G came loose so another stop. Suspect electrical and timer is showing smudges across the pickups. We’ll be sanding tomorrow. Probably will help. That’s it for now. This reporter will keep you advised George signing off.

While he was distracted, I polished the contacts on his coil packs and coil box. I also snuck in a couple plug wires.
Don't tell him, though. lol

Jason,
So, it’s your fault we don’t have more “Jelf” stories, mishaps and failures to read about…….

Rob,
That hour or so we spent tuning his ignition was priceless. Mostly because I'd never done it before, but also because of the company I was in.
As someone who works on stuff years into the future, I was astounded by something so primitive, yet so functional!

And if you had come on Saturday at 4PM you could have had that ride in the K that you want so bad.

Well, I was in the village at 4 PM...
Besides, if I get a ride I'll feel like the Coyote if he caught the Road Runner... what would I have to look forward to?

Re: Steve made it to LakeOzark Mo
Truth be told, I'd sacrifice my time in the K for the prototype... that would be dreamy!
