Moore trans measurements
Hello all, can someone tell me the exact measurements for cutting down a drive shaft & drive shaft housing for a Moore under drive accessory trans for a T cheers Warwick.

Warwick, there is wriggle room when cutting the tube, as the receiver on the front of the gearbox is 4-5" long. The tube can be clanmped in the receiver to make it fit when in place. When I found mine, the tube and the driveshaft were already cut, having been previously fitted. I cannot help with the driveshaft length, except to say if you fit the tube to the gearbox, hook it up at the ball joint on the trans, you will have a starting point to measure up how long the shaft needs to be.

Hello & Thanks Alan,there seemed to be a lot of wear in the clamp side of the casting where the tube buts up against it & i wanted to make sure the tube was the right length. I borrowed a shaft from Andrew Web & i wanted to be sure of the sizes before i cut anything as i only have one of each
