Jordan was rare among ex-pats in bothering to learn the Russian language. One of his adventures was acquiring a rare case of champagne and hauling it back to the official residence in the embassy’s Ford Model T."

That’s really neat. It would be interesting to know what happened to the T’s that were used in government service. I’ll bet it didn’t come back to the US. But was this the embassy in the US or France.
