Stevens Front Axle Tooling????

Post by Dan Hatch » Mon Jan 15, 2024 6:54 am

I have been contacted by several people about Stevens Front Axle Tooling. So I am considering another production run of the Upper Tapered Reamer and the Lower Reamer/Tap.
These will only be sold as sets if I do this.
I have no idea of price now, it will be more that the last run. Not cause of me but every time I make a run the cost go up.
I will need at least 10 orders to do this.
You can respond here or email me at address in the picture.
If you don’t know what I am talking about, look for older threads about this amazing tool. Thanks Dan

I would be interested, but I don’t have the fixture either. Are they available anywhere that you know of? Also, any vague ballpark guess as to what the tooling might cost if you do a run (real rough number)?

This is just a guess but I would say north of $500.

Jack Putnam was having them re-cast & available - he frequents here occasionally.
