Wondering if the Rockford Model T club is planning on meeting somewhere and joining the 10 millionth Model T drive across the country? Maybe joining them in New Rochelle where there might be a place to safely park a trailer and then heading west to the river. Then turn back and head home. Just an idea. Meet at Bob's if need be, but that looks like extra mileage to catch the car.
If you haven't heard they plan on driving across country on the Lincoln Highway and are leaving New York on June 2. They will have a route and stopping points on a list with the understanding that life can . The plan is 200 miles a day to get to San Francisco. The only guarantee is they will start on June 2. More info to follow. (New York to Davenport is about 5 days)

Tenitively, some folks from the Midwest Chapter of MTFCI will join the Lincoln Hwy tour. Possibly meeting in Batavia, IL, where the original Lincoln Hwy is Rt. 31.

Appreciate all of the interest shown for the upcoming tour. as of today, the only known fact is the starting time, June 2, departing New York City.
The itinerary is still being developed, but fundamentally will follow the Lincoln Highway to California.
There will be a website or a blog that the itinerary and dates after finalization will be posted. We certainly hope that clubs or individuals that would like to come out and play with us would do so, and are certainly welcomed. It’ll be nice to meet other Model T hobbyist on route.
