Quastion about install turtle-deck on a Roadster

Post by Craig E. Luton » Thu Sep 26, 2024 9:26 pm

I am getting ready to install the turtle-deck on my 1914 Roadster. How much space should I leave between the turtle-deck and the back of the Roadster body?
Thank you
Craig

No space between? I do not know about the brass cars but the later ones I have seen are mounted metal to metal.

Round leather washers about 1/4” thich were used between the turtle shell flange and tje body deck at the four points of attachment.
