1926-27 T Pickup Bed Center Pan
I'm looking for anyone who has an original "FLOOR REAR CROSS MEMBER HOUSING" for the 26-27 T Pickup Bed. This is the center pan that is located over the rear crossmember. I'd like to get some profile photos of the pan out of the bed, but in the bed would be ok too. Also, does anyone have the T part number for this piece?

Are you sure it's called a housing? I thought it was a cover?

T-48815 is part number of the '26-'27 Housing (rear cross member) as noted in the Price List of Body Parts book.
Lang's used to sell that part as Lang's # PBEDAD, but no longer avail, these were made by Howells a few years ago.

Re: 1926-27 T Pickup Bed Center Pan
Hey guys, thanks for the info on the pan, the photos are great and part number too.
It's my understanding that the pan is kind of humped up in the middle between the strips, where the Model A pan is all flat across the top. I'm guessing that the rear crossmember needed just a little more clearance under the pan on the T than on the A.
I may see if I can get the drawing for this from the Benson Archives.
Does anyone have a photo of the top profile showing the hump?
