Jan. 1 2026

Who else starts the new year with a drive?
Fellow club member, Sam Atkinson and I were talking when I first got my roadster. He told me that he always takes a New Year’s Day drive.
Who am I to argue?
So today it was a balmy 32 degrees here in the St. Louis area and I headed off to start the new year off in style. The car was a bit cantankerous at first but after a mile or two of taking it easy, it was a nice, but chilly 15 mile drive to a local conservation area.

Happy New Year everyone

Watch out for that Atkinson guy! He taught me how to drive his roadster once and I was hooked on Ts for decades! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone !!
Around here they start dumping salt on the roads around November, so mine is put away for the season. As well as the Shovelhead. :(
I’ll probably start it next warm day.

Isn't that how drug dealers work? "Here, kid, try this. You'll like it, I promise." :D

Yes! And sometimes it's a family member. I was afflicted at the tender age of five by my uncle. And Yes, I like it!
Nice pictures Scott, I camped there almost fifty years ago with friends from high school. :)
