Awesome!

I wonder what hood length he envisioned?

How would the brake handle be moved back?

It looks like a first sketch of the Torpedo or open runabout.

Or maybe a first round sketch of Edsels Speedster

If Edsel drew it for Tom then should he be worried about design copyright infringement?
Should we bury this thread before Edsel sees it and comes knocking?
They do look a lot alike!

So, Edsel was 17 years old when he drew that sketch.

Was his same age in high school when I dreamed and sketched my T speedster.

Edsel graduated from high school (College prep school) in 1911, at age 18. Given the detail in his drawing dated 1910, I suggest this was likely a ‘first draft’ for a class project, more of a concept car than a working drawing. I’m glad it survived.

Edsel graduated from Yale in 1915, at age 22, married in 1916, and was president of Ford Motor Co from 1919-1943 when he died of stomach cancer. Respectfully, jb
