Route 66 Centennial

There are many events planned to commemorate the opening of Route 66 in 1926. Any clubs have plans? Here is a photo from 2012 for the worlds heaviest Model T in Tulsa.

MTFCA National Tour in Joplin, Missouri Sept 8-12 will travel parts of route 66 in Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. If you are planning any route 66 trips this summer, get your rooms early. I hope to spend some time on the road in addition to club events. I suspect this will draw more interest than they expect See you in Joplin!
