I happened to have on the TV "Texas Terror" (1935) starring John Wayne. It features a brass era T touring car that serves as a "stage" (says so right on it). As the T enters the scene it's steaming pretty good from the radiator. The driver stops, walks over to a water hole (looks more like a mud hole), picks up a bucket that is obviously waiting there for this specific purpose, and scoops up a bucket of water which he then takes back to the car and pours into the T radiator.
Made me laugh. After all the discussion n the past on this forum about what coolant to use, the right mix of water and coolant, and even using distilled water it seems that back in the day they weren't so particular.

I saw that same movie not too long ago. The T "chase scenes" made the whole thing in my opinion.
