Max A/C works!

Post by jachady » Mon May 25, 2020 10:35 pm

After 2 weeks of trials and tribulations, I have been able to get 5 of the 6 windows on my Fordor operable. What is amazing is they now work so well that I can put them up and down with one hand, from the drivers seat! The 6th, I need a new regulator, or at least a new gear before it can go down. I tell you what, all windows down, windshield open and the cowl vent open makes for a lot of airflow. Even though it was 85 and sunny and I have a horrible exhaust leak on cyl 4, it felt comfortable driving down the road. My boy called it Max A/C.

As a side note, I learned that if I was 6 inches shorter, the air (and bugs) coming in the windshield wouldn't hit me right in the face! I might look at shortening the seat cushion a couple inches when I do my reupholstery.
