Is this something???

Post by Oldav8tor » Mon Feb 24, 2020 7:43 pm

I was contacted by someone clearing out a huge collection of Model A parts that belonged to her deceased husband. She mentioned she had a "Field Boring and Pouring" kit for making babbitt bearings. I haven't looked at it but wonder if it is something I should try to get my hands on....if not for me then for someone who would use it. It would be helpful to know what a reasonable value for such a kit would be and any other useful details.
