Lug Nut Torque

Post by Oldav8tor » Sat Feb 02, 2019 8:14 pm

I have 30 x 3.5 demountables on my '17 Touring. Any idea what the proper torque is for the four nuts that hold the rim to the wheel? I've been told 40 Ft-lbs but thought I'd see what others had to say.

Tim - I use the Ford combination spark plug/head bolt/rim bolt wrench - stop just short of stripping the threads. (kidding !)
