TT door latch

How do you take this latch apart or can it be done? I see they sell the internal parts (springs etc) but I can't figure out it comes apart. It looks like it is welded together.

Rod, it does look spot welded together, two at the bottom and two single welds at other points. There are ways to break these. Some use flat ground drill on the dimples. There are special saws panel shops use for the same purpose. Once apart and new bits fitted, they are welded shut again.
