Headlight bracket attached to frame of car

Post by DHort » Sat May 23, 2020 1:59 am

Will the headlight brackets from a 19-25 car fit into the frame if the frame is a 26-27?
The headlights I have are from 19-25 and the frame is 26-27. So the headlights will not
be attached to the fender. Thank you.

Short answer, No. The 26-27 cars are completely different on how the front fenders mount. Early cars the headlight mount is the fender bracket where as the later ones are separate. I have seen a late frame with the front fender mounts cut off the frame and then drilled to except the early mounts.
