2020 MTFCA Scholarships Awarded

Post by SusanYaeger » Wed Aug 05, 2020 10:35 am

Thanks to the generous donation from an anonymous MTFCA member, five 2020 high school graduates were awarded $1,000 scholarships. A bit different from typical scholarships, this program was intended to reward young people who have shown devotion to their Model T families in ordinary life, throughout their lives.

Congratulations go to all of the talented students who were nominated for these scholarships. There are amazing young people within the Model T community.

Four MTFCA Board Directors served as the selection committee. They were ‘blinded’ to the names of the students and their nominators and all applicants were scored on the following criteria:
  • Determination
    Leadership
    Devotion to T-Family
    Caring for Others
    Showing Kindness
Respect for the Model T Legacy
Congratulations to these exemplary young adults who represent the future of the Model T Hobby!

Thank you so much for selecting me as one of the recipients of the scholarship. I truly appreciate your generosity towards the youth of this hobby and I look forward to continuing with the hobby throughout my lifetime and someday to pass long my passion to my children. These funds will help me to put my energy into the studies for my career and I will not have to worry about financial issues during this time.
