On our way to Richmond

Post by paul schaefer » Thu Sep 24, 2020 8:15 am

We are heading to the Model T Museum. Three T’s. 2,1914 Tourings and 26 Fourdoor. We are leaving Valley City, Oh today and plan to travel about 150 miles today and finish the trip on Friday. We will be at the Museum Friday afternoon and Saturday morning before heading home. Should be about a 500 mile round trip. We all have cabin fever. Need to get out and feel normal again.

Have a great trip! The museum is absolutely incredible! There is a new room in the second part of the museum!

Have a safe trip! Sounds like fun. Weather should be perfect right up to late Sunday.
This has to be one of , if not THE nicest, Model T museums around. It's so great that the city
of Richmond is so supportive of them too.

We traveled 197 miles yesterday with no problems. Only about 40 miles from our destination. Should be there before noon today. We are looking forward to seeing the museum.

Excellent news! Be interesting to hear what routes you took, how much on state/Us roads? Did you camp, or put into a hotel?
And yep, pics say a thousand words!! Good luck today. You got great weather right through the weekend.

It was great to have you at the Museum today! We usually recognize the Ts when they pull in so it was fun to see some “newbies!” Glad you took a photo of the three Ts in front of the Agency building.

Hope you enjoyed the time here and in the Richmond Depot District and didn’t leave without Ullerys Homemade Ice Cream!

Safe travels back home. Come see us again next year. There’s sure to be more changes!

Susan and Justin

We had a great time at the museum. The hospitality was fantastic. From there we headed north along the western side of the state. Was helped with our route by a fellow T owner who told some friends we were passing through. They found us at a fuel and rest stop. We went to look at their collection. They had several T’s and 3 Brush autos.we had a great time visiting. From there we ended up in St. Mary’s . We toured around Grand Lake St Mary’s.and to St Charles seminary where my uncle was ordained at. Today we headed north along Rte 66 to. Defiance where we toured the roads along the Maureen River. So far about 490 miles on our trip. Tomorrow about 150 miles to home. So far so good with no major problems.j
