Hi Tom call me tomorrow at 269-719-7542 and I’ll get you all the measurements you want. By the way we have something else in common now. I messed up my arm and shoulder cranking a model T. I remember you cranking Doc Wallace’s Model T on the Jamboree when you hurt yours.

Mark,

I did my share of cranking on Doc's T myself, but managed to escape injury. His T's never ran right... (Until you restored his 13 anyway...). I miss him, he was a nice guy.

Hi Jerry, I own the 13 touring now. I restored that in 2004 for him. It was in pretty poor shape when I started restoring it. I always refused to crank the speedster. He and I were very close. I’m on the mend now about 35 days since having my arm and shoulder surgically repaired. I miss a lot of the folks that have left our hobby. I feel very fortunate to have been graced by their companionship.

Mark,

Happy that you're doing better.

Yes, we have known some wonderful people, (and still do!). Hopefully some of them has rubbed off on us. If so, we are the better for it.

Aren't all pre 26-27 runningboards the same width?

I know pre 26 were the same. I don't have one to measure.

Up till 13 there were two sizes of running boards and shields. 60” tread aka Southern Wide Track used a different width board. In 1913 they were changed to use the same shields and boards. Dan

Why has nobody gone out to the garage, measured the width of a pre 26-27 running board, and posted it here?!
