Rear Windshield felt?
I found what looks to be felt on both sides, behind the wood of the rear windshield, '26 coupe. I found no discussion about it on MTFCA and no part number for it on Lang's. So, is this a thing? Thanks.

Re: Rear Windshield felt?
Vernon: The felt in your picture is the remains of a felt strip that goes between the vertical pieces of the window frame and the body. When I made the new wood frame, I purchased some 1" wide by 1/8" thick felt weather strip, stapled it to the wood and installed the frame. It's purpose is an anti rattle/squeak cushion between the body and the wood frame. It is only used on the two vertical end pieces of the frame. Best, jb

A many thanks to you.
That is where I found it, sides only which were about 1-1/8" wide. Here is a photo for those who come after.

Re: Rear Windshield felt?
Found some plain non-adhesive felt in home improvement, measures 1-1/4" x 3/16" (x 17' roll) for a few bucks.
Two vertical wood pieces are 1-1/8" square and 19-3/4" tall.
Instructions say to tack, staple, or glue in place.
