What happens to old Ford factories - it's not just the cars that are restored!

I ran across this interesting article on a restoration/conversion of the old Ford factory in Parnell, Auckland (NZ).

It contains some original data on the factory when it was producing Model T's, and shows how the factory has been converted into modern apartment blocks.

Perhaps not a complete restoration back to producing Model T's, but it's nice to see the recognition of the building's previous use, and the tasteful way they've preserved some of the history in the end result:
