Does anyone have one handy that they can check the diameter? The one I have is home made. When I put the boring bar frame on a block with original bearings (no sign of pan rails or main bearing pads being machined or molested), it looks to be over too far when mated up to the false cam. I have not checked the center to center which as I recall is 100MM.

Check to make sure your KRW false cam is straight. I have measured a number of them between centers and they are frequently banana shaped. If so, that can mess up your center to center camshaft to crankshaft distance.

Not the best of examples, I know, but it is what I have. Checked at 3 different points along the length and each one comes in at 1.001". Hopefully this is helpful for you.

All the ones I have seen are 1.000 same as the rear cam bearing hole.

I agree with Joe. All the ones I have had are 1.000 on the small part. Also, the front larger area is a snug sliding fit in the front cam bearing hole in the block.

I did check it last night. The front is .006 under and rear is .004 under. The front part is a snug fit in the bearing hole. Did not check for straightness. Knowing the correct diameter, at least I could work with that, ether by shimming or build up and turn back down to correct size, more then likely would just shim. So yes it is off a little and maybe what I was seeing was how the oil wells were cut or thickness of the babbitt. I will have to take a better look now with more light.
