Any good top cleaners

23T Roadster..Top is black on the outside, and cleans up good. Inside the top is white, or supposed to be. Mine is spotted, stained, maybe moldy. Any recommendations for cleaning the inside without removing the top? Not real messy? Thanks...Tommy

Some type of foam upholstery cleaning product, such as "Tuff Stuff" might gets results. I'd try applying it to a small area, then brushing gently with a soft brush, then hit it with a wet-dry vacuum to remove as much of the loosened dirt and cleaner product as possible. It's usually recommended to use such products when the material is cool, and it's best not to let the cleaner dry on the material. I'd try cleaning the top first, then clean the seat and anywhere ever the product may have dripped to prevent spotting or streaking. There's a chance that a cleaning product might damage the material, so testing an "inconspicuous area" is usually suggested.

Couple of detailing shops here steam clean engines.
I used one of these to clean my engine, was on a stand and had a pan underneath to capture the residue. Worked great, no mess. There are several others like it but this is what I'd get again. I purchased a small steam cleaning unit from Harbor, but haven't tried it out yet..Maybe?

Spraying on a diluted mixture of Clorox and water and letting sit will kill the mold and mildew. Clorox also has a bleach based spray on cleaner that will work well (see photo). After the mold and mildew lightens up from dark green to yellow, it is dead. It might even disappear altogether. Once it is dead, wipe clean with a damp (wet, but not dripping) clean cotton cloth. After spraying, immediately wipe up any overspray that may have settled on the upholstery or interior. Lowe’s has plastic bags of great quality, white cotton rags in the paint department, like old soft T shirts. Jim Patrick
