McMillan cylinder head questions

Post by Gene_French » Tue Jun 01, 2021 2:51 pm

I will be beginning the finish machining operations and rocker fabrication on a McMillan overhead valve cylinder head casting ... many of the operations are clear , standard operations ... i am interested in any information regarding the placement and type of spark plug used ... any photos or drawings of a finished cylinder head would be appreciated ...always an optimist ...Gene French

I talked to Chis Becker, and he said he is calling someone who is familiar with the head and should be in touch with you soon.

Kevin:
thank you ... pictures would be helpful ... i want to be careful with the spark plug placement since i don't have any info. on foundry patterns and material thickness ... i am certain that the plugs will be centered in cylinders on the intake side ,BUT , may be angled and elevation is uncertain ... any help is appreciated ...always an optimist ...Gene French
