This one has a section on the early birds. They are very nice cars. Congratulations on your purchase. I have a very nice 1962 T-Bird.

I own a 1936 Packard convertible sedan, a 1916 Model T coupelet, and a 2007 Mercedes Benz SL550 roadster.

Check Facebook. There are a good number of old car pages there. If there is more than one, you may need to get the feel of the page before joining.

Man, am I gonna get in trouble. I think the '55-'57 T-birds were among the most beautiful of the post-war American cars. I also think that they were some of the worst. The "Y-block" V8s were terrible, the automatic transmissions were bad, the power steering system was terrible, the bodies were serious rusters, the electrical systems su--ed. About the only parts of the car that were any good were the brakes and the differential. If I had one it would be a decoration in my man-cave (which I don't have either).
