Is it a closed cab or C cab? Here’s what the closed cab seat frame looks like.

There should be wood completely under the seat springs but not attached to the springs. I have a C-Cab and I used plywood. I believe it's hinged so you can lift it up and get to the back storage area.

If you have the board and hinges- that is bonus, as they seem to be gone most of the time. The board and hinges are for the tool box lid under the seat.
