Zerk Fitting Size & Source

What size zerk fitting is correct for the front drive shaft u joint grease fitting to replace the standard oversized cup? Also is there a commercial source to find it?

1/4 npt. McMaster Carr. Can use the more popular 1/8 npt & a pipe bushing. Probably napa, granger also.
