What is this canister?
What is the canister on the 1926 T running board used for?
I’m reading a book about anti-gravity. I just can’t put it down.

Re: What is this canister?
Thank you gentlemen for your replies. I absolutely believe that's what it is.
I got to thinking what a kind soul that Model T owner is. Since T's never break down, he/she carries this accessory to help out their stranded buddies who drive Dodges, Chevs, etc..
Perhaps the odd T does break down, and it's a Canadian one to boot, eh!
It's probably from the added weight of those fancy top holder down thingies.
I don't see any 600W oil on the pavement!?

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

I remember smudge pots as a kid. Always thought they were so neat. I managed to "acquire" one once much to my mother's chagrin!
And look at the muscle on that lady's calf!! Wow. Don't think I woulda wanted to tangle with her.
