1915ish Coil box switch wiring? Lights?
Hello all, I have just started wiring this coil box. The top row of contacts is for the commutator, the second row is to the spark plugs. I assume that the third row of 2 contacts is for switching and maybe lighting? I don't know what they are for. How one might wire and the driver turns on and off lights on a speedster mix such as this? Guidance is much appreciated.

The bottom two are for battery and magneto connections.

Lights are wired on a separate switch, to the side of the coilbox on a 1915 model.

Ignacio,
How 1915ish are you going to be? With a Speedster lots of liberties can be made. For an absolute true 1915 approach, complete with magneto driven headlights, the following schematic applies....
(I'd verify the dash switch as to which side is which with a continuity tester before doing anything. Some folks get the switch 'backwards').
Since it's a speedster, you might want to consider chucking the magneto headlight power and going with DC? Thats a different wiring diagram as you'd have to come up with a 2-position switch...and wire the headlight buckets in parallel and NOT in series as shown in the schematic.

The headlight switch on my 1915 is to the right of the coil box, left of the the speedometer, and below the carburetor adjustment knob as shown in the above photo.

Thanks for the wiring links. I'm not an electrical sort but these may be helpful in figuring out the hodgepodge of wires on my non stock electrified '14.
