Jack rabbit clutch question

Post by RGould1910 » Fri Mar 22, 2019 9:05 pm

I discovered I have a number of Jack rabbit clutch discs but don't know if it is a full set. I have eight of them. Is this the right number for a 27 transmission, coupled of course with the right number of outer discs?

Jack and turbo for what I can remember, are set up with the small disc and 8 is the right number, 10 to 11 big Ford discs, the watts used the fibre big discs and small Ford discs.

8 pr 9 will do. The important thing to remember is that the finished stack needs to be the same thickness as the standard Ford clutch pack. This may mean adding an extra Ford disc or two to make up the difference.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input. Didn't know about instructions being available on line . Very helpful.
