mystery part-what is this?
Hi all. Just wondering if anybody can identify this thing. It looks like a cowl from an automobile, but I'm not sure. It's 27 inches wide by about20 inches tall. Thanks.

Just a guess - but could it be a part of the seat for a horse drawn carriage?

If you do a search for 1890's surrey buggy you see an example that matches your mystery part. Good luck!

Checked lots of horse drawn buggies. The front on all of them is flat or curved flat.

You can make a nice bench out of it.

Could be right... maybe a seat from a horse drawn buggy. I was thinking it was a cowl part. Thanks guys.
